Escape the hustle-and-bustle of everyday's life and retreat to a peaceful haven in the Douro region of Portugal, with stunning views over the valley close to restaurants and river marina in Pinhao.
Once an old village school, this 4 en suite bedroom villa has been converted into a beautiful family holiday home to very high standard, and is surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. Included in one week rentals (or longer) are added value extras such as: a complimentary local gastronomy meal; a visit to one of the Port producing Quintas with wine tasting; and weather permitting, a vineyard terraces picnic plus a two hour Rabelo boat ride on the Douro. The excellent and friendly staff speak Portuguese, French and English and as well as looking after your daily needs, double up as local tour guides or babysit on request.

Fees and conditions
- Refundable security deposit of £250 to be paid | Daily maid service included of 2 hours per day after breakfast is served | Included with a 7 night rental: Daily breakfast, glass of port on arrival, welcome hamper, courtesy dinner during the stay (not arrival night), Douro vineyard visit & wine tasting and during the summer months only and weather depending a 2 hour river boat tour with picnic | From 1st November 2024 a local tourist tax must be paid for any guests over the age of 16. The charge during low season (November 1st - March 31st) is 5 Euros per person (for stays of 5 consecutive nights) and during high season (April 1st - October 31st) it is 10 Euros per person (for stays of 5 consecutive nights). Payment of this tax will be billed with the balance of the booking
